He's virtually overtaken Remco in the overall out on the road currently.

I've been surprised by how well Joao has hung around on GC.

I also think DQS have been Froome'd by thinking Remco would be performing better, but he (obviously) needs more time.

all those out there saying that Evenepoel hadn't raced more than 10 (or whatever) days are saying 'called it'. Hopefully he gets his mojo for longer races to throw a spanner amongst the Rog/Pog/Bernal cogs

Time gap now down to 4m30s.

At this rate, the Break will be lucky to make it to the top without being caught.

This may be a great stage that no-one gets to see..

as mentioned previously by others, this test pattern is almost certainly the inspiration for the EF Pro Cycling Nitto's special jersey for this Giro...

Evenepoel popped out the main chase peleton already, and the Passo Giau hasn't even started yet.

Happy for DQS, it makes it clear who is now supposed to be the protected rider.

Like mentioned by the commentators: it is still remarkable given his crash last year that he was able to remain in the fight this long. No doubt he is learning a lot from this and will be back to bring the fight in a future Grand Tour.
