Alouette3 Posted April 6, 2021 Share We have been using Everon Marine Grease (blue) for years, available some Midas and auto stores. Tub goes for about R80. Used it for wheel bearings, headsets, pedals.... a go to for all general purpose things that don't need a specialised grease like SRAM Butter. DieselnDust Posted April 6, 2021 Share I use this; quite thick and sticky though. Those who say "waterproof" Johan Borman will come to haunt you; he maintained that there was no such thing and no one argued with Johan and won that I saw.Well there isn't a water proof grease per se just a few that can handle the environment the ingress of water creates. Dow Corning makes speciality greases for sea bed remote drilling platforms. That's pretty expensive stuff that has to last 3yrs in the high pressure environment of deep sea drilling rigs.
