The Ouzo Posted April 9, 2021 Share Create a path on google earth.I restarted mapmyride and so far it seems to be working. Edit: Got it mapped, made some assumptions in certain places https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/4290124630 Edited April 9, 2021 by ouzo Red Robin, peetwindhoek and TNT1

Frosty Posted April 9, 2021 Share I looked at their route in more detail. Difficult to see how they will get off the M2 East onto the M1 South - it has barriers separating East from West. Looks like the double-decker section could be dual carriageway. Also, the short left, right, left after Kyalami (Main Road); not sure how they get the little cut-out section. Here's how I interpret it in Garmin Connect; 96Km. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/54734321 Edited April 9, 2021 by Frosty Johnny Vee

Bonus Posted April 9, 2021 Share Falling out with Mnr Steyn I wonder? Most of the reason I want to ride this again is for the lap of Kyalami. I'm glad its still in there. Kyalami used to be open in the evenings for cyclists/runners etc. Dexter-morgan
Chris_ Posted April 10, 2021 Share Kyalami used to be open in the evenings for cyclists/runners etc.Old Kyalami? Ja I cycled there a few times way back. It was brilliant. I suppose I haven't really been riding since new Kyalami was built so never looked into it if that still happens.
Johnny Vee Posted April 11, 2021 Share Thank you Frosty for doing the route. It looks like there will be less elevation gain. In 2019 elevation gain was 1498m.
mecheng89 Posted April 27, 2021 Share MTB and kids ride still at Steyn City. Maybe Nasrec is just better suited with regard to logistics and such .Edit: Cyclists from the South are smiling.
