Chapeau! I think Rog wanted to keep a little bit of powder in reserve knowing he'd get rojo anyway. Kudos to Magnus for getting the stage Interesting stage awaits today... Vetplant Posted August 20, 2021 Share Interesting development today. 29 riders in the break, already 2m50 ahead of the Roglic Peloton.

'Dale Posted August 20, 2021 Share Eina, Valverde. Somehow the gap in the barriers (must've been taken out already by a crashing vehicle). He looks eina. What a blow for the Spanish National Team.
'Dale Posted August 20, 2021 Share Tears for the old champion. When one has limited time and opportunities left to serve the team, a Grand Tour ending crash in week 1 must be so eina. On the apex, a small pothole and months of physiological and psychological preparation instantly washes away in the dust and abrasions. 'Dale Posted August 20, 2021 Share A precious precious win for Team DSM by the Aussie Michael Storer who nearly fell over on the final wall. Hugh Carthy and the team in pink will be disappointed as the lanky one just didn't feel well since the previous stage. This Grand Tour was his final big effort for the season after a relatively fruitless 2021.
