Sunamite - the South African full-suspension fat-bike

What are your thoughts on this new bike brand? I came across it via one of the Bike-hub side-panel adverts. I was not quite aware that there might exist a demand for such bikes...does there though?

Check out the link: https://bike.sunamite.co.za/

More specifically: https://bike.sunamite.co.za/shop/product/fatbike-26-21-speeds-black-10#attr=

P.S. they claim the bikes to weigh in at 16 kg. However, having briefly taken a Fat Cat Rapid Comp (a re branded Mongoose Dolomite) which weighed in at 27 kg I am sceptical about this figure.

These tyres sound amazing. Sounds like something they stole from Space X or NASA.

The frame is also "shocking" proof for those that fancy riding in areas littered with live electric wires or that enjoy afternoon rides in lightning storms.

Not even niche market, the novelty appeal came and went long ago.

Would be surprised if the uptake was even 0.5% of total market.

That is one container of crappy Chinese imports that should have stayed stuck in the Suez.
