slickjay007 Posted July 1, 2021 Share I have the Louis Garneau Granite II MTB Shoes and absolutely love them. If you have wide feet then most of the Louis Garneau shoe range is not for you. Build quality of the MTB shoes is very good and overall weight of the shoe is also good. Pricing is not bad but if i were you i would spend a little more and get the Granite II shoes. Ryan I Posted July 1, 2021 Share I bought a pair of slates about 2 or 3 years ago and really like them. I bought a second pair a few weeks ago from a guy that bought the wrong size. Done about 4000km in the first set on MTB and Road and very happy. I have taken a few tumbles on the MTB and the ratchet mechanism seems to move and not work - but easily fixed by just moving it back into position. I am impressed at how tough they are.
