Remove Rock Shox XLock remote from XX SID

Hello wise hubbers,

I am looking at removing the XLock remote from my wife's SID XX fork as it is a mission to maintain, I would need to remove the XX damper and replace it with the compression damper with crown adjuster knobs, are the parts readily available or does someone have a second hand one I could buy? Is it easy enough to do myself?

that is possible but the actual availability could be challenging at the moment due to back log on parts globally. The XLoc remote is a challenge but keeping it going might be the best course of action for now. Droo will be able to inform you re parts availability
