Looks like all those rumours are starting to firm up.

- Chaves to EF
- Higuita to Bora
- Jai Hindly to DSM Bora
- Plapp to Ineos
- Lotte Kopecky to SD Worx

Rumours (would be good to hear how wildly off the mark the UAE ones are from our very own Emirates insider):
- Rohan Dennis to Jumbo
- Nibali to Astana
- Tolhoek to Trek
- Kristoff to Intermarche or Total DirectEnergies
- Marc Soler to UAE (will be missed from the Movistar doco's)

I thought Hindley was already a DSM rider.

Thanks for the info. Can't see you guys doing anything but getting stronger for next season. Will be a great watching so many good riders hamming it out for the next few years.

Viviani back to QS... I thought that was Patrick giving good copy to the papers. I wonder what the pathway is for Cav'. Amazing story this year but what will happen to the results when Bennett, Ewan and co are back in the tour? He needs one for the tour record, is that that publicity worth the rest of the contract that surely must come ow after QS brought him back to life?

Plapp looks a good prospect for sure. Another one into the ineos machine. Hope that is the right move for him.

Plapp and I - along with Allan Peiper spent alot of time on the phone, zoom and Whatsapp along with his agent trying to get him over here. We missed that but have actually become friends with him over it. he is an incredible kid and a massive talent and hope its developed and used at Ineos with his free chances. My wife got him his apartment here in Girona funnily enough by chance.

Cav will be a tough once, DQS will need to cough up money now, Cav came to QS with 400k from a personal sponsor from my understanding which covered his racing to a degree, now that he has done what he has there will be no more of that. I think he may of won a stage even with those riders there but not as many as he did as those guys are seriously quick.

If I was Cav:

Option A)

Option B) stay at dqs, Bennett is gone, so insist on tour start. Whatever the money deal is take it.

Option C) anywhere else, that's a risk no matter the money

Option a, is of course the classy move to retire at the top. But I'm not Cav, and he's not classy so who knows. There could always be something ridiculous like a move to movistar, to be paid in tomato futures

I’d bet wherever Cav goes it will be on a specialised bike

I don’t think money will be the issue, he’ll want more guarantees in terms of big races

Best move if they even want him is to stay at DQS for free

Tough luck re Plapp ... I see he is also in the Australian track team for Tokyo.

At least your team has not wasted time and signed another excellent young time trial star.

Jumbo Visma is probably not very happy about it   :)

I see you guys picked up Fisher-Black. Your thoughts? I would assume if he's anywhere near as good as his sister it's good pick for the long term?

Yes, been coaching him a short while already since he signed but wasn't announced, we sent him to wind tunnel on Monday. Massive talent, super young and really good field and lab data. Being so young he will take a season or 2 to develop but a really serious talent that is on that "not seen regularly"

Win some and you lose some. Plapp is actually pumped about him coming to us. Both really great kids.

John bit off topic and if you can`t answer, understand 100%.

Personally chuffed with the performance of Louis this year.

Few years back mentioned a move to Trek or Cofidis that did no go down great.

a Trek move still intrigues me, the question:

Can Louis change is tactic and style of rider to become like Bauke Mollema or Kenny Ellisonde?

Is teams looking for this or is a top 15 Tour result enough to stay relevant in Europe?

This year his riding improved one or two days his bunch positioning cost him places or burned matches to close gaps.

Would like to see Louis in more one day races, Il Lombaria!
