Sidmouth Posted August 4, 2021 Share Want to put a dropper on this bike , however does not look like it is drilled to take an internal dropper post,BB area also looks rather small anyone done something like this before , thinking it may have to be external? splat Posted August 4, 2021 Share Seems like its internally routed from the RHS of the downtube and up the seat tube. https://fullsus.co.za/how-to-fit-a-dropper-seat-post/
JohanLotter Posted August 4, 2021 Share I have a dropper on my 2016 Alu Anthem. Cable is routed through the down tube and exits just before the BB at the bottom and goes externally around the BB where it enters the seat tube again.
ChrisL Posted August 5, 2021 Share I have one on mine. The 27.2mm seat post diameter does limit things a bit as it seems to limit the amount of drop. I'm not the tallest guy, but I have the min insertion of the seat post right on the limit.
madmarc Posted August 5, 2021 Share Have you considered an external cable routing - Not as neat but it works well and you don't have to jerry rig it on a non drilled frame. I run a KS LEV external routed cable - works perfect
