Heinrichlouw Posted August 13, 2021 Share Hi Where can I have my Specialized Fox rear shock serviced that would not cost an arm and a leg?
Dexter-morgan Posted August 13, 2021 Share With or Without the Brain, if its Brain, only Specialized agents, otherwise Try Congent indutries.
droo Posted August 13, 2021 Share We can do them, but considering the machine you need to bleed it is about R 60k and a basic seal kit is close to R 700, you'll have to define "an arm and a leg"... Hairy, Owen_DJ, Riaan H and 1 other 1

I see it on the 4x4community.co.za site as well. "Where can I have my XYZ serviced where it will be done right, with the right tools and consumables and to the right spec, but it will be cheap." To the OP: Pay good service for what it's worth. No one wants a cheap lawyer when they get caught with a hand in the cookie jar. But fortunately yih have options. You can send it to Spez in stellies, they have the right stuff and know-how. Or you can send it to Droo at Stoke Suspension Works. There is Cogent in PTA and Robbie at RBC in PE. As for me, my suspension goes to Droo. No matter what they charge. But in all the years it went there, I never felt ripped off, their prices are reasonable. I say this as I do basic suspension services (lowers oil change) myself and thus know what is involved when servicing dampers, so my higher grade stuff is gladly farmed out to the experts. Andreas_187 Posted August 13, 2021 Share Try MP suspension in Milnerton, they have the correct bleeding machine. They are motorcycle suspension specialists but also do MTB and are the Ohlins agents for SA. BEST IN THE BUSINESS (I should know, I used to work there!)
