If only I have a smart, direct drive, trainer - I could put a good 26" frame, and cockpit to use.
I guess it would be cheaper on par with trying to build a monster cross bike.

Never thought of using a 26" frame...... Now thats a good idea. I have a 10sp drivetrain and damaged road front wheel lying around. Just need a frame and fork.

Can only comment on the stuff I've used.

Zwift is GREAT. However.

For pure training I rate sufferfest the better app. For a POV "experience" and the ability to have 3 family members on one subscription there's Rouvy making it very cost effective. When I've got time I need to try and figure out Golden Cheetah which is free.

Seeing that the thread is going there, anyone know where I can’t rent an indoor trainer? Is that possible in ct? Thanks in advance…

Wattbike at a gym? That's "kind of" renting an indoor trainer?

I bought an old CAAD frame and powder coated it / new decals. No brake calipers and standing permanent on my Kickr with an old cracked  Mavic front wheel. Frame almost identical to the Supersix that I ride outside.

Picture of the bike mounted on the trainer? For powder coating and decals this really looks good.
