Damn good excuse if I am out of breath .... :whistling:

The distance is fine, but with that elevation I "need" my spare battery.    So I may as well "enjoy" the ride. ..... and have a blast taking photos ....

E-bikes welcome.

The 55km
This will be the ride of your life with a single track combination that will blow your mind and give you an all-over body workout from counter balancing your bike. The route is a combination of our trails that are open throughout the year that will include two famous climbs, “Death Drop” and “Dead Man Walking”. The last 25km will have no big climbs.
DISTANCE:55km
ELEVATION GAIN:1400m
SINGLE TRACK: 30km
WATER POINTS: 3, Self-help at 10km, 23km and 36km

Sounds epic. Just checking, camping is allowed for Friday night for guys only riding Saturday(one day) as well right?

WOW !!

What a feeling .... last event I entered was 29 February 2020, Stanford classic 2 day event.  Bust my knee while training, and attended the event watching a buddy ride with my entry ....

And then the world came to a halt .....

Absolute surreal feeling being able to enter an event again.   And back in the Boland where we have enjoyed so many stunning rides.

Eselfontein is in my humble opinion the best trails in the Western Cape.
