Which lights above 1000 lumen to buy. Advice please.

No not really. I just tend to use them on full bright and was thinking of max length of time out needing lights but realistically its never more than 3 hours at the most.

Expensive but you but them once and the last forever.

Any feedback on what model you decided on? Not sure "how much" light is enough?

I had the D6 at one stage.
VERY bright.  VERY big.

Bought the Race:  Nice compact and small and I could mount it on the Garmin mount.  Think its like 215g or something.
But we sometimes do night rides on the MTB and it was just just lacking a little.
So went for the Toro which, in my case, was perfect.  Adds a third beam and makes night riding easy.
Still very bright.

extreme lights

 

run on high for over 4 hours. with the large batter pack.

 

Service is excellent and can have light repaired i something goes wrong.

No brainer
