Does it come with that Mustache?

would the Mustache not cast shade on the solar panel? Or did they include the mustache to show its does not affect solar performance? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is that landed in SA, VAT and duties paid?

No - But i'm comparing what i would pay in Germany as to here in SA out of interest

German VAT is included @ 19% so in ZA this would be 4% cheaper

I stand to be corrected but GPS devices fall under 8517.62 tariff heading which is 0%

My ROE is a bit heavy as i could today buy Euro for 16.41 making it even a bit cheaper.

I have been waiting for the release of this, but I am not sure if it offers much more usable features over the current 1030plus.

I was hoping for a serious upgrade of the screen resolution over the 1030p, as I find that is the biggest shortcoming in the current model.

At a glance, I don’t see anything that justifies the expense of an upgrade. What am I missing?

Hi Madmarc

You also have to remember that once the item arrives in South Africa you will pay 15% Vat on top of the R12750. This will work out at R14662.5.

If you are interested in the unit drop us an email and we can discuss this further.

Compelling for me would be the UI and Solar. The neat metric that shows me how soon i'm going to pop may be helpful for someone that's either noodling or foot-flat-out...

seems an awful lot to pay...
