Anyone ridden the jonaskop climb after the big rains of winter?

Any feedback on it's condition.

I don't know the condition and never heard of any damage but a group went up there today, most of it is tar and the very top concrete,

Mate of mine went up in the past week - parts of the road are completely destroyed.  Pic is a screenshot from @ArnieKitshoff's Strava.

Presume it will take a while before it's rideable.

Ja it is tar, wanted to check that the tar hasn't washed away a la the Glen.

tar hasn't washed away on the glen, the mountain washed away underneath it, but the road is still there

Ah - so probably strong enough for a car free hill repeat session then?

exactly, yesterday we did 40:20s there and it was lekker, only "disturbance" was walkers with their unleashed dogs, but unlike in some other places, the dogs behaved and didn't see my calves as a snack

WOW that’s is hectic, seems like they hike a bike that section because Arnie and the other group from Sunday still went to the top.🔝

I believe that KOM is safe for a long time unless another light weight pro rocks up on his road bike and give it a smash but Simon Andreassen is the new holder on his MTB.
