Poenster Posted October 4, 2012 Share Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the R103 from Boksburg side all the way to Heidelberg. I have searched the thread and see everyone takes the R550 through to SBR. I am planning on riding from Edenvale to Vanderbijlpark through Boksburg and Heidelberg and was wondering if the road is safe enough to do so. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sat & Sun 7.30 in winter.Some go long some go short. Short loop turns left at the robot just after the Shell garage and Lido Hotel.Long goes over Walkerville hill. Suggest you do short first ,about 40kms, slower to the back. You are new, so post will not be complete without mentioning that the bloke you quoted is no longer with us.Sensitive subject . Daideron Posted July 23, 2013 Share From my limited knowledge and experience 007zhr, its basically just a central meeting point from where everyone meets at a certain time and set off on their own rides. It is an unofficial group ride and you will be disappointed if you arrive there expecting some sort of administration or organisation. My best advice would be to chat privately with one of the riders who is in the know and on the Hub and try arrange a first ride in this group with them. I am sure someone will be willing to help you.
