GoLefty!! Posted February 2, 2007 Share Snce the debate seems to be either way.Which do you think is best suited as an allrounder. Will be used for training and racing, perhaps tours if I decide to return to the darkside. No other suggestions because they have been looked at and discarded on either cost or unsuitable geometry. Required ize would be small or 52cm
TitusTi Posted February 2, 2007 Share 2 very good options, I think you'd be happy with either. Don't think I'd be able to choose between them based on anything other than price.
Gumpole Posted February 2, 2007 Share what is the price difference between the two?
pastapouch Posted February 2, 2007 Share Go for the Giant...
3D4D Posted February 2, 2007 Share This is the ugliest color scheme in the pro peleton. Green, red, black and blue. When it comes to a choice between ugly or boring colors I'll go for boring. Sorry 'dale fans but they can really come up with a better combination.http://www.cannondale.com/liquigas/images/gallery/mediacamp/large/2.jpg3D4D2007-02-02 06:01:

AndreZA Posted February 2, 2007 Share I don't like compact frames so if have to be the 'Dale. I priced them last week for about R22k for the frame, fork and SI carbon cranks.
TitusTi Posted February 2, 2007 Share Yeah, I'm biult real big, so the 60cm 'Dale looks too big but a large Giant or 58 Cervelo looks real good!

Man with no name Posted February 2, 2007 Share Funny, ever since Spidey's post of his 'six, it almost seems as if the 'dale is running away in the polls?
TitusTi Posted February 2, 2007 Share titus' date=' you could go for the 58 dale....[/quote'] Top tube is to short, can't take anything less than a 58, 58.5 by preference.
Spinnekop Posted February 2, 2007 Share Wel....It is easy. The 'dale is more stiff. It responds like hell in a sprint and climbs like a dream. I have done the lowveld with it. I have done 6 hour + rides on it. It is just an amazing bike.......Love it.
