Help with cut tyre

Recommended Posts

Probably, Park Tool make this thing called Tyre Patch (or something like that), it is used as a permanent gator, I learnt about this after using the Conti GP 4000's, it works quite well, try get your bike shop to get it from the Park Tool guys.

Those things are crap, always cutting the bloody sidewall. Had a set for 5 months had to patch the sidewall once a month. Had a set of Michelin Pro Race's for 2 years, never had to do a thing.

Do you mean Tyre Boot?

The fastest, easiest, and most secure way to repair a cut or worn tire sidewall. The all-new TB-2 is produced using a strong, waterproof vinyl membrane with fiber weave reinforcement. A super strong pressure sensitive adhesive assures the boot stays in place in any tire, road or mountain, high or low pressure. A true ride saver.
