Bike Mob Posted January 22, 2009 Share Just had this emailed to me...below:Morning guys, I've just been told that Helderberg Cycle World at Somerset Mall was broken into last night and 6 high end bikes were stolen: 1. Scott Contessa Spark 2. Scott Genius MC50 3. Specialized Epic Expert 2009 4. Specialized Tarmac 5. Cervelo R3 SL 6. Cervelo R3 I'm afraid I don't have any more details on the bikes re sizes etc. but please keep your ears to the ground and your eyes open. No shop can afford to lose this sort of stock. Rgds William [/quote'] just updated with descriptions of the bike. the guys are very suspicious - a bakkie drove into the shop front during the night walked past loads of other high end bikes, just took these six. the cervelo's were in the middle of the shop, even left a pricey BMC as it did not have a price on. they think the shop was checked out before they broke in.
