Core muscles

This has been discussed previously here but here goes:

 

Abs - crunches / sit - ups on a roman chair with a weight & leg raises with a weight (this hurts). Twists with a broom stick or pole for obliques..

 

Back: Deadlifts....

 

All this & other gym work 3 times a week..hope it helpsApprove

And to summarize about 50 pages of previous threads there is debate about whether core training actually improves your cycling or just general fitness and body tone.

Use it or loose it, the lighties wont know what this means YET.

 

oH YES Wink Cycling does not use it, but you will suffer if you dont have it [ Core muscle strength ]

I used to do a bit of yoga, but my job got in the way, so now it's just a few (60) sit-ups if I remember.

 

Or else I just go to the gym...  They have some cool core workouts there...

i have been doing a few things my physio showed me using the ball, just thought of some other usefull hints that the well informed hubbers will know about.
