Guest Michelle Posted February 21, 2007 Share Has anyone tried this? Did it work? I had my second session today... treating my lower back & my shoulder. I'm feeling seriously TIRED but apparently it's normal & I should get my energy back next week.

1hill@aTime Posted February 21, 2007 Share i have had it three times in december just don't move while they in, did they strap your back muscles afterwards, also you shouldn't ride the day that it was done, and to answer your questions yes it works, i was suffering from bad knee pains even a 40km would hurt like crazy, i have had no pain, three sessions later... i also hate needles but its actually nothing have had them in my back, my butt and knee and under knee cap.1hill@aTime2007-02-21 06:21:

Guest Michelle Posted February 21, 2007 Share TitusTi: Aren't you the guy with the big tattoo? It's definitely less painful than that! It's a bit of a strange sensation... had tingling down my one leg during the first session which is about as uncomfortalble as it gets... hagar Posted February 21, 2007 Share I had this dry needle therapy done to my lower back a few years ago I hurt my back whilst lifting the nose of my caravan. Was in lots of pain for about a week and the doc suggested that I go and see a specialist but first should try the pysio who does this dry needle treatment. Three sessions later and I was as fit as a fiddle and pain was gone. It was with copper needles and they put this electric current through that stimulates the muscles. It worked for me

permatube Posted February 21, 2007 Share Also had it done, couple of times. Broke my clavicle badly and ended with frozen shoulder. They stuck needles in my back, chest etc. Really works lekker. The needles are really fine, so does not hurt when they stick them in.

Bateleur1 Posted February 21, 2007 Share Is it similar to Acupuncture? Those thin long needles? Had that a few years ago. Was not painful put was not too amused to find out that the physio was shuffing needles into a tumor.
