Opinions will vary.  I ride (and like) Ksyriums.  There are good deals to be had on K-ES's and K-SL's, but really, any wheel you buy for that sort of money should be a good wheel.

American Classics are prolly worth looking at too, as are Eastons and Rolfs.

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

http://www.spinergy.com/

there are many good wheelsets around - just depends on what you want to spend & you will get a 100 opinions on this site.

bikemax had a brand new pair of xaero light spinergy's for sale for under 4K - a good price I think.

for round about 7K have a serious ook at the Fulcrum Racing1's - very stiff & made by campy,  but also works with shimano.

easton also make some good wheels in that price range & so do mavic.

Go have a look on totalcycling.com

You can buy a top of the range clincher wheelset for around R5k to R6k.

Easton and Mavic probably your best bet and most reliable.

In the end it comes down to personal taste though..

Have two sets of Eastons (training-racing) and love them.

Oh of course, Shimano and Campag wheels also worth looking at.

Depending on your size, look at stability over minor weight differences. Rather get slightly aero than slightly light.

Shimano wheels is the crap they put on bikes to make them cheap. Would someone actually go and buy shimano wheels?

The Eastons are nice

Hi

Buy the Ksyruim ES from TitusTi. Its brand new and is great wheel. The Ksyruim SL's and ES's is used in the Tdf by many riders,

I got a set as well, and never had a spoke or anything changed serviced or issue.

And believe me, I abuse them and just hope for the best.

Buy the wheels from Titus and offer hin R6,750.

You wont hear from him now, I think he is doing the Giro.
