bored girl Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 so being a woman i have plenty issues and ive been told before i whine too much - there never is cheese at those occasions though..........unfortunately lately my issues have been related to food and related items........i do not understand how the markets work out there i keep on getting stuck on an item that happens to disappear from the shelves in 3 months...... a few i can think of now:dr peppertetley teaphysical milk and latest the woolworths margaret roberts fruit jellies can someone out there explain to me wth is happening out there?is a couple of months enough to decide whether an item is sell-able or not??? considering how much i like my falke socks maybe i should go stock up.........

Guest Big H Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Here in Nigeria everything is imported and is three to five times more expensive than in RSA. Post Toasties @ R53-00 a packet!!!!! Everything is different and you only realise how conditioned you have become when you start searching for known brands. It is quite a mission to go to the shops and find and try new products. Well I suppose that is when you start enjoying our relatively stable shops is RSA. I long for a Boerie on the fire; brunch in a skottelskaar, a nice potjie and a proper steak. Hotelfood is lekker once in a while but becomes boooooring when you have been through the menu five times!!!!!! Enjoy your lekker shops with all the lekker goodies in the R of SA!!!!!!!
