shaunh Posted March 27, 2007 Share Just kidding. I am no expert, but from what I hear, use them when conditions are perfect especially in the absence of strong side winds.

Craven Posted March 27, 2007 Share Preferably only when racing (unless you have enough money to throw out the window). Unless they weigh a ton and you dont weigh 50kg's use them in any race. To heavy (the wheels), then dont use in 'climbing races' (are there any in SA?). To light (you) and you will struggle handling them in the wind. Aero advantage is usually better than a weight advantage.

SwissVan Posted March 27, 2007 Share Which way are they dished?
Warped Posted March 27, 2007 Share Use them for Team Time Trials. Single dish on the rear for Individual Time Trials. Otherwise for eating soup or skottle-braai.
zipp303 Posted March 27, 2007 Share Have you used your deep dish in a TT race yet? Is it a carbon dish? I've also heard from mates that deep dish wheels make a "whooosh" sound when rolling fast. Ok, I didn't answer your question. I think use them in TT or tri. Have fun
