Immediately after Contador went it was clear that Kloden was pacing flat out with Lance on his wheel. You'd have to be blind to have missed that. Dunno if it was perhaps to try and catch up to Andy who was just in front of them (and just behind Contador), but either way they were pacing, and they were riding hard.
