I just receive my Epic Stage downloads from Polar.

 

 

 

To Peter Figg and his team, a great and big thank you for the wonderfull service you gave us everyday at the Epic.

Popeye, what interval recording did you use for the Epic  5, 15 or 60 seconds ?

15 seconds, was not sure if you would be able to get to Polar every night.

Would setting it at 60 seconds, giving you 90 odd hours of recording not eliminated the need to use Polar's service ?

But it was nice to be able to see how hard you had ridden each day, and where you had caused your partner to suffer...

And the service was FREE. You did not pay for it.

Ok, didn't realise that you could view your day's ride immediately thereafter.

Polar always go the extra mile - When something goes wrong with your gear you will appreciate them!

 

I even got a loan unit for a race when my 720 gave up the ghost (thanks to a nephew who at 3 had the throwing arm of a Bulgarian Olympic javelin thrower!)
