BuffsVintageBikes Posted May 4, 2021 Share IMG4.jpg IMG_2.jpgWow, that looks smashing Any particular reason you didn't go for a standard quill stem?
Stretched@Birth Posted May 4, 2021 Share IMG4.jpg IMG_2.jpgThat is very nice, the stem is a little out of place though, needs something a little slimmer.

DJR Posted May 7, 2021 Share Moser 51.1Recently during the UCT fires (on our doorstep) we had a talk about what you would grab if you had to flee. One of the young Ds said: Laptop (varsity projects). The other said: My blue bike! I was so proud! I'm pretty sure you are also going to say: My blue bike! On the other hand, my wife said that if she was going to be left only with the clothes she is wearing, then she would go change into something better.........we decided that she would never escape because she would take far too long to decide what to wear! Slowbee Posted July 26, 2021 Share Is there anyone who has a Pinarello Prince frame lying around that they may be wanting to part with ? It might not be steel retro, but it is retro non the less.
Slowbee Posted July 26, 2021 Share Morph, not sure if it would be a medium or a large. On some frames the medium works, and others the large works. But I would say more likely a large, 55/56 My 2011 Roubaix is a large.

Slowbee Posted July 27, 2021 Share 45 minutes ago, Morph said: Pity, I have a 60cm available. How does the sizing compare to "modern" frames ? That line between really wanting something and making it fit, or being a bit patient for the "exact" right thing.
SneakyPete Posted August 2, 2021 Share Chaps, I bought this old girl a week or two ago and the reach is just a touch long. She's got a 110 mm stem at the moment, but a 90 mm is going to make her a perfect fit for me. If you have something suitable in your garage, please let me know (preferably in or around Cape Town).
