Mark at Marks Bicycle Workshop in Bellville should be able to help you out. Alternatively, buy a small packet of bearings and dump the race and repack them loose. Loose cog Posted August 20, 2021 Share Thank you Buff. Apparently Jasper is looking for cheaper hoods. My cost price is R465 and I sell them for R500 a pair ????
Diedrich Posted August 20, 2021 Share Hi Guys, I am bringing a Babelegi express back to life. It’s got Shimano 105 brake leavers with campy hoods. The calipers are Zeus 2001 (made in Spain) a bit of a mix and match. Should I try and get 105 calipers with Shimano hoods or rather try and source campy leavers? Loose cog Posted August 20, 2021 Share Getting Campagnolo levers is getting very hard to find and expensive. I would recommend you replace the hoods. Cheaper option. PM to order (I have stock).

Loose cog Posted August 20, 2021 Share A complete Zeus 2001 groupset is very difficult to get. I restored a Razesa a few years back which has older Zeus centre put brakes. Diedrich Posted August 20, 2021 Share Thanks, that is some bike porn right there. Lovely for reference but I think you are right. Those parts will be extremely hard to find.
Diedrich Posted September 1, 2021 Share Here is another one of my finds. Peugeot Rapport. From what I’ve been told, early ‘70’s, built in Springs and around that time a lot of these bikes were sponsored for cyclists racing in local races. Hennie 15 Posted October 6, 2021 Share This is my Colnago Master Piu build. Frame painted by @BuffsVintageBikes and stem pantograph by him. Fork was re chromed and the bike was build with matching Dura Ace 7402 parts. Wheels are Mavic open 4cd rims on Dura Ace hubs. This was an project that took many hours to complete, but it was worth the time. DJR, Loose cog, IH8MUD and 7 others

My current road bike is a Hansom 708, was my mates, his mom didn’t flog it. I therefore have a real soft spot for old Hansoms. I am still looking for a 53cm, 753 Hansom.
