Camelbak on a Road bike...

I am mainly into MTB, but recently bought a roadbike for some training and doing events like the 94.7. It appears that there is an unwritten rule that one uses bottles for carrying water on a road bike and not a bladder on your back, eg Camelbak. I frankly find a Camelbak much more convenient, even on the road. Will I be mugged at a road race for wearing a Camelbak??? Is there anybody out there that actually wears a Camelbak on a road bike?

Check the photo of the Carousel Race. There is 'n oom riding with his camelbak.

Won't use mine on the road though. Only for long rides on the MTB.
