Willehond Posted May 22, 2007 Share I did this once last year and might do it again, but it scared me shtless first time round!!! I'd never been on a track bike and with no freewheel, no brakes and sloping track it made for exciting riding. Started to enjoy it after I got used to the bike and track protocol. If you have a chance to get to the Velodrome tonight, go! I did this for quite a while, and it's (a) great fun and (b) a good way to get a serious workout while it's pissing with rain outside....Just a word of warning..it gets bloody cold at night during wintertime in the Velodrome, so legwarmers/armwarmers, jackets, gloves, beanies, coffee, hot chocolate etc etc are good accessories!
