Unathi Posted December 3, 2009 Share SWEET!!! Such a good bike!!Had the same idea for the 2010 Epic back in May. Lack of 29er spares, tyres etc made me think twice, in the end went for a 26" S-Works Stumpy. You will LOOOOVE the bike though, rolls over everyting. Must be a reason why Tony Ellsworth use it as his #1 bike over the Truth now.Maybe next year Keep rolling, see ya at the start on the 21st of March! PS: maybe try the twist grips rather, the X0 ones are Fantastic esp for races like this.
Flowta Posted December 3, 2009 Share Out of curiousity, apart from tyres, what other parts are specific to 29er? FYI: You can use a 26" tyre tube in a 29er wheel. Flowta2009-12-03 15:26:

parabola Posted December 3, 2009 Share Flea your 22" frame looks perfectly in proportion with the 29" wheels
_BBi Posted December 3, 2009 Share Normally a 29er looks totally out of purpotion, but this looks more "normal".
