Kloof Nek, top of CT is also quite a toughie

 

But those cobbles maybe make the one in ur pic a ltittle harder.

 

I also think the road up to the mast in Tokai is a monster, 11km of sheer toughness, but the view at the top is breathtaking.

Nothing... try Bo - Kaap hills. from the bottom on Longmarket Street... till the Noon Gun.. thats a hill including cobbles..

And in Pretoriawe have Slagtersnek in Waverley wonds you the first time kills you the second time but you gotta do it WHY YOU MAY ASK?????  BECAUSE I CAN

They reckon you should not train on steep hills to improve climbing, as it doesn't allow you to perfect a good techinque and rythm.

Well, I'll admit to being a cheat, I used to drive my bike to the bottom of the hill. It's got gravel and all kinda cr@p on it. As well as the problem of killing yourself going up and not being able to warm down once you get to the top.

 

Obviously I've still ridden up a few times, but it's a struggle.

 

We lived at the top on the corner, we've had two trucks fail to make the corner and freewheel/topple over into our fence!
