ZippIt Posted June 17, 2007 Share Zabriskie has a pretty lethal positon - probably one of the best.looks like he's changed it a bit tho between the giro and dauphine w.r.t angle of forearms..
Psycho Posted June 17, 2007 Share Fantastic position, but I see that his helmet looks different to mine... I also have a Bell Meteor TT helmet like his, and if you look closely you'll see that towards the back at the bottom they added an extra piece, thus getting the helmet to "hug" his back better..... Psycho Posted June 17, 2007 Share comfort levels? Well I think he looks very comfy in that position..... and with that added piece on the helmet, he need not bend his neck too far back to achieve that snug aero fit...
Racing Hart Posted June 17, 2007 Share time trail positions isn't really mean to be comfy, but to have the optimal setup between power and aerodynamics..a lot of pro's take a long time to get used to their tt positions
skelmpie Posted June 18, 2007 Share I wish they had windtunnel testing on the pro's in SA, it really makes a big difference
pastapouch Posted June 18, 2007 Share yay, that doesn't look comfortable at all. But for an hour anytime. You won't see that extreme positions at Ironman. You won't even walk after that!
