Formerly known as easy rider Posted June 22, 2007 Share I tightened the timing chain on my tandem. But now the bottom span of chain is slack. How do I fix this? What am I doing wrong?
Hendrik Petoors Posted June 22, 2007 Share How slack....... hanging pap so it will fall off. The top part is in tension when you pedal. The bottom part will always have some slack but not pap. If it is hanging pap you have them in the wrong teeth.
Formerly known as easy rider Posted June 22, 2007 Share Oom H, they are in sync, checked that. The bottom half is much slacker than the top half. I understand that the top half is in tension when you pedal. Any idea what could've happened?

Formerly known as easy rider Posted June 22, 2007 Share Out of sync. Did it by sight. next time i'll measure!!!! H what is the best carbon fork for my Trek tandem frame?
Formerly known as easy rider Posted June 22, 2007 Share Thanks H. Must say my timing chain is stretched hey! Don't know how, this bike has done very few km's. Once again thanks
So hy hou baie langer as gewoonlik. Bye bye frame!!!!!!!Hendrik Petoors2007-06-22 06:57:

Joss Posted June 22, 2007 Share You can get an EVO Tandem fork locally from any bike shop. Cape Cycle systems imports them. Retails at about R1600.00.
Hendrik Petoors Posted June 23, 2007 Share From Chucks Bike's $165-00 @$7-30 to ZAR1-00 this is R1204-00, if added to other tandem goodies like Truvativ cranks, Velocity DeepV wheelset etc this is quite a considerable saving.
