Longtravel Posted March 3, 2010 Share Anyone had any redwin on their bike for a while. I have been told to avoid the coloured Sram components as the colour fades in a few months and the redwin looks more like pinkwin. Anyone had an experience with this ?. I had my eye on the new redwin components but am not so sure anymore if its going to look cheap and nasty in a years time. Thanks
cat-i Posted March 3, 2010 Share have seen a few redwins and they're gorgeous, haven't asked how long they've been on the bike. the red bitsies are inside between the gears, aren't they? so out of the sun?

patham Posted March 4, 2010 Share Hey djembeMy redwin cassette is at least a year old. If cleaned properly it looks pretty much like the shiny brand new one I have tucked away in its box for a rainy day. It looks and shifts so well I wasn't going to take the chance that SRAM stop making them.
