Saddles: Planet-X vs On-One 4 MTB

I've got the Planet-X saddle and really happy with it, now I was wondering if anybody has compared both the Planet-X and the On-One (both from Planet-X).

I commute 90% of the time on my MTB and happy with it, but I found at Sundays Argus MTB that hoping off the saddle onto the top-tube resulted in memories of my favourite uncle showing me what "magic" is. LOL LOL LOL LOL

End of the day what is more comfortable for MTBing?

(Oh, and at the price I see no risk in getting an On-One to compare the difference, just finances limit such a decision till next month).

I use Planet X on both my road and XC bikes, as does Kurt. I think the only thing more comfortable would be a sofa. smiley4.gif

Best value for money in saddles on the planet.

The planet-x is really comfortable especially if you prefer a harder saddle. A good set of shorts make all the difference! Would also like to try the on-one to compare but I have tried many different saddles and nothing comes close to the planet-x for even more than twice the cash. I thought it would not last very long but after a year mine is still going strong.

Yup, I cannot complain about the comfort. Very comfortable and in no way am I sorry I bought one.

Oh, and I weigh 90kg. My previous Bel Air saddle saw its arse Wink due to my weight, OK I was 103kg a year ago but I got my Planet-X when I was 95kg.

Thanks for your feedback guys.

Must say that I do need a new seatpost and should perhaps first get that before I buy an On-One to compare. (My seatpost dose not clamp so lekka anymore causing the seat to creak and tilt, saw tonight that this was the cause of some of my discomfort on Sunday).

Cant argue with that - they look a bit scruffy after about 5,000km but the comfort never changes.

10 outta 10 on the comfort/price scale. Actually 10 out of 10 on the comfort scale - the price is a bonus.

Now you can even shell out a bit more and get a titanium one if you really are a weight weenie on a semi budget.

Is there a difference in the strength of the rails between the normal ones and the titanium ones, or is it just a weight thing?
