Anticlimb Posted July 9, 2007 Share I know this is a bit off topic - appologies . I am missing out on the second hunting season in a row because our licensing dept at SAPS offices only just started processing applications made in 2005 . I have gone through the whole process off competency and re - licencing of current weapons at the same time I applied for licence for huntng rifle This was done in Aug 2006 , and like I said the POULIEESE only started processing applications brought in 2005 . Any suggestions ???

TheLegend Posted July 9, 2007 Share I was on a farm in Namibia once. When we needed meat we went out to shoot an oryx antilope. Since I was the guest I had the honour to shoot it. Well, I missed! Since we still needed meat we went and shot a cow, you can walk up close there!TheLegend2007-07-09 08:02:
Hendrik Petoors Posted July 9, 2007 Share We had a grader operator in Duits Wes Afrika from the Kamanjab area who hunted with a haasrek kettie!!!! He was adamant that 165 grain hollowpoints worked the best on Kudu. He also added that you should practice a lot as only "kopskote" worked!!!!! Ons a serious note, there are many lawyers that specialise in the procurement and processing of hunting licenses. I will contact my son and come back with some names. Now your'e talking walk and stalk is the way to go' date=' then the game has an equal chance [/quote'] Walk and Stalk is presies wat ons ouens met gewere ook doen . Die meeste boogjagters wat ek ken sit in elk geval hul wild voor in skuilings by drinkplek of voerplek . Dit bly egter steeds 'n kuns .
Thyolo Posted July 9, 2007 Share Speaking for the chicken fraternity - predictably I'm against shooting helpless, helpful or downright rude animals. If I'm hit with a stone, a stick a bullet or a nuke, whether you crept up from 75kms away or just leant out your bakkie window, it's all the same to me innit?
