On this same topic, according to the www site the Flow measures Heart Rate: current, average, maximum. According to the box content there is nothing to do with the HR included (strap / sensor or whatever) so I am interested to know just how it measures heart rate?????

I saw something here about having to have an external HRM : turbo trainer review

I already have a Garmin Edge as well as a Suunto HRM - does anyone know if these are compatible with the flow?

Does anyone have any info here? I have tried the Suunto and although the Tacx seems to see a signal it is totally inaccurate so doesn't seem to be a solution.

Any one know if the Sigma would work?

Sigma analogue uncoded strap should work OK with Tacx Flow. I guess Polar coded will not work, it uses proprietory comms. Tacx Bushido can use analogue uncoded and Ant+.
