So much of sadness

There has been so much sad news and negativity the last week.

With absolutely no disrespect to those whove lost a loved one, please someone share something positive, something inspiring, cuz at the moment it all seems so dark.

Who had a good ride over the weekend?

I had great fun doing the "All Mountain Race" at Contermanskloof on Sunday.   As I was finishing my first run, I saw my hubby and almost 2 year old son waiting for me, was so cool.

One of the spectators comments: "There is something wrong with this picture".  He was referring to the women (me) having fun racing mostly downhill while the hubby babysits :-)

Then got to go Easter Egg hunting and stuff my face on Hot Cross Buns.

Why these pics, I agree with Idejongh, we hear a lot of sad news lately, our 2010 as a family till now has been atrocious, but this little guys is always soooo happy, it's quite inspiring.

Did my first Epic this year and came. 118th. Not bad for a part timer. I thought it was the best event I have ever done. Everythign was perfect. Nothing to complain about at all. Plus my bike had no technicals and I service it myself. Chain lube once daily and a 5 minute talk after the days hard work was all it needed. Gotta love Specialized.

I rode at Gibba Gorge and Holla Trails(twice) the past weekend. Both of them awesome, Gibba is a bit short but the riding is great, Holla is very cool, got some good milage in there
