hboli4 Posted April 8, 2010 Share Had a call from my cousin in P.E. this morning, one of a group of 8 guys training for IMSA was hit by a car this morning on a training ride. Please keep him, his family and the rest of the guys in 'Mansgenoeg' in your thoughts and prayers, he is currently in hospital being operated on. Bad damage to his leg, concussed but stable. Please guys, lets be safe out there. Details not clear but it sounds like he was at fault. Tried to cross over to the other side of the road when he heard the car coming from behind, at the same instant that the car decided to pass them by going into the opposite lane... hboli4 Posted April 8, 2010 Share They usually train together with 'Mansgenoeg' shirts, sometimes green, sometimes brown. Other guys include Brink Eksteen, Charl van der Merwe, Henk de Jager, Ockert Fourie, Pieter Pretorius, Johan Kruger.

hboli4 Posted April 8, 2010 Share They were all pretty shaken up, my cousin mentioned that riding the 1.5km back to where they started was pure torture...
