Tankman Posted April 12, 2010 Share I want to get a Track bike but I am also strongly considering getting a TT bike in the near future? Is there a track bike that can be converted into a TT bike without to much trouble or a TT bike that can be converted into a Track bike? The only real issue I can think offhand is the rear dropout would have to be able to accommodate a hanger for the rear derailleur. And cable routing... The geometry of these bikes should be able to work well in either discipline. I would rather get a stronger and yes heavier Track bike and use that for TT as long as I can get pretty aero on it?
