Juan Mauricio Soler Hernandez will be wearing the white jersey tomorrow, as he is second in the best young rider competition. What a great day for Barloworld, 4th for Hernandez and Siutsou finishing in the main bunch. Hernandez is also now 5th overall. Well done Barloworld

Cardenas is there to have a go at stages.  If he wasn't feeling god, he would have taken it easy.  I imagine that Corti has told his men not to look at the GC although Soler may have a go tomorrow for yellow.  T-mobile are unlikely to commit to keeping yellow on Gerdemann's shoulders.

Would be brilliant for Barloworld but I don't think that Soler will be up there tomorrow, stage looks pretty tough and I think Soler might be pasted after his efforts today, besides tomorrow the BIG boys are gonna play and I don't think Soler will answer to them and hang on to his 34 second lead over Kloden etc but lets hold thumbs!

Finally I agree with you on something and thank goodness, otherwise we would have had to look at that snotty nose... but hats off to Gerdemann he rode a helluva race Clap

Gusef is only 46sec behind Soler in young rider GC. Soler didnt waste too much energy today, a lot less than the top 4 in GC. He went away 5km from top of climb, and TT the downhill. Not too bad for the reward.

i see robbie Hunter is 3rd in points now, only Boonen and Zabel in front of him.

Actually interesting to see today that most young riders did pretty well!!

Wonder how much effort it cost them? Probably see the following days!

Effort looked minimal.  Soler is a pretty good climber and tomorrow is perfect for a long breakaway.  I don't think the peloton will see him as a threat, so he may be able to get in an early break.  If he waits to the end obviously he will struggle when the big boys play.
