Which dual sus to buy?

Hey all,

 

 

 

I have a burning question which I need to answer.

 

 

 

Here my options:

 

 

 

2009 Volcan FS1 with brand new Sram X0 and rock shock sid race

 

 

 

2010 Stumjumper expert (If I can the bike shop to drop their price a bit)

 

 

 

Any other suggestions??

 

 

 

My budget is 30k

Cube AMS pro - drool!

Scott Spark - superlight!

Silverback Mercury 1 - great value for money package - well specced!

Giant Anthem 2 - also good value for money!

KTM Prestige - maybe a little out of the price range :) approx 70K

Stumpjumper expert is an AWESOME bike and with the brain on the rear shock, pretty good with the climbing.

Volcan vs Stumpy is a comparison of a 100mm race bike vs a 140mm trail bike. Little bit apples vs pears.

I've been looking at the exact same spec, ie full sus @ R30k

 

I was tending towards the Scott Spark. Admittedly Morewood wasn't on the radar, however lost enthusiasm on the Merida (travel etc). Spez overpriced as mentioned previously, however cyclotech hubber dude in bloem appears to have some bargains
