Which roads are reasonably safe to ride here in/around/outside Pretoria because I dont really know the routes my LBS rides on their weekend rides and after looking foreward to riding this weekend only for that idea to be washed away by this rainy weather when I arrived at the LBS and there was not a soul to be seen.  I really need to know where to ride coz a little bit of bad weather isn't going to stop me next time from just enjoying the ride but anyway ja any help will be much appreciated.

Felt like that the past month already cos the rain just aint going away, I think Summer had less rain.  Anyway enough about the weather! Road or MTB? What level? Kmph average over 80km? Ride Boschkop/farm service and trail roads most Saturday mornings.  Seldomly ride with LBS choose to ride with friends or on my own quite often, probably not always best thing to do! At least get time on the saddle and dont have to keep waiting along time for guys to catch up!

Hey mac we also ride there allot on saturdays or sundays, ive got a few mtb friends so we must organise a bigger group, safer and some banter is always welcome.

LBS would be singletrack  ? they do struggle to keep a good pace, we avg. 20kph plus over the routes, anything from 40km to 100km.

Telkom CC also ride every Saturday and Sunday, have a look at their website: www.telkomcc.co.za

They ride in 3 big groups, ride between 60km and 90km a day, and new people is always welcome.

Give them a try, I have!!
