please help,

just got my new set of xt wheels and when i spun the back wheel the casette swayed/moved ?

spoke to my lbs and he says its normal something to do with the free hub?

surely a R4000.00 wheelset shouldnt have any movement on the casette?

any other hubber out there experienced the same??

That sounds dodge to me. One of the two components are warped/bent, there is now way that either should have lateral movement, if they are not poked. Is the disc rotor doing the same on the opposite side? Does it look buckled?

Take them back and get them on a truing stand, but take them to another LBS to get a second un-biased opinion.

But another question, you been suiping? Is so re check in the morning, if not the former advice is the better option. Good luck.

I've had an XT wheelset for 9 months and the casette has always oscillated slightly - doesn't seem to be a problem.
