Truvativ crank remove ?

Hi guys ... cant deem to get the hex bolt loose to remove my truvativ crank ...  pretty sure it should loose counter clock ... can anyone confirm or add advice on how to loosen the thing ??

Counter clockwise. Lefty loosy.

 

Use a good hex socket in a sturdy ratchet and place the bike on the ground, when loosening it. These things are torqued tight.

I still remember my late Dad telling me at least 35 years ago 'righty tighty lefty loosy' .... nice reminder of that JB Big%20smile

Cool thanks guys, i know sometimes the normal rules of lefty loosy dont apply, so just wanted to make sure ... in the end turns out leverage did the trick , i.e. extending my hex allen key ...
