ROLLERS OR INDOOR TRAINER? I would suggest that you put on a smooth 26inch tyre on your rear wheel or get a rear spare rim with a smooth tyre.....I cannot image you riding on MTB tyres on rollers or rear mtb tyre on indoor trainers...eish!!!

Agree with Gerhardc cannot see how that can work. I have seen what an IDT does to a normal road tyre eish.

Well it is Rollers nor the IDT but thanks for the feedback. The rollers has little friction but it does make a noise.

I tried mtb tyres once and apart from the smell of tyres burning the noise should have been an indicator that this not to be done.Long story short don't do it unless you want new tyres soon. There was some rubber lying all over the place. The wife was a bit upset but not as upset as me as I had to buy a new tyre.
