Converting from 26er wheels to 29er"s

Hi Hubbers

Silly question i know but i am mechanically disadvantaged.

Can i convert from my 26 inch wheels to 29 inch without having to change anything else on the bike ?

Nope. You need a 29er frame.

 

and fork and tyres. But it also depends. IF you want to fit 700c wheels and road racer tyres it will fit.

No, but you might be able to get away with 650b wheels.

Depending on the fork and frame clearance.

Go to planet x bikes and buy a 29er conversion kit - frame, fork, wheels, tyres - the rest will work....

I you have a Cannondale with enough clearance for the rear wheel, then yes.
