Bennie Dikwiel Posted April 12, 2012 Share Had Ardents (26x2.25 non ust) on for +- 5 months. Happy to say I am going to replace them now with another set of Ardents for general riding. These tyres have such big volume and high profile I think my bike almost qualify as a 26.5 inch!!!See these other reviews:http://www.mtbr.com/...056_151crx.aspx Big J-WP
MintSauce Posted April 12, 2012 Share Good to hear the positive comments. Does anyone have experience with these vs the Minion DHFs, specifically ito rolling resistance? How do they compare? I'm currently running Minion DHFs and am considering putting these on for Sani2C and then going back to the DHF after and then sticking these on my SS. Or I may just suck it up and stick with the DHFs.
Big J-WP Posted April 12, 2012 Share Good tire and it loves a little trail ride! Doesn't like loose over hard pack and heavy mud, but otherwise its a really good all round tire, at least for Cape Town conditions... Casing is also quite generous when it comes to size, so a trail bike with the 2.25 tire is a good combination. Putting a 2.4 upfront if you riding a 6" trailbike may be something that may appeal. All in all, it likes the corners and it likes to do them quickly! Been using the 29er tyre and have had no problems with them
