I was also seriously into showjumping and eventing as a child and junior before I had to go work full time. I took up the racing as it was a way to ride and compete for free and even better, win some prize money! Where did you ride? Did you ever compete at nationals? How did you get into racing??? i wanted to so badly two years back but i don't knoe how, you are robably the luckiest person i know. A few years later I started riding work for a trainer 7 days a week to get fit and learn and then from there I helped an ametuer trainer train her horses and rode in the flat races for her. As soon as they started jump races in PE I taught the one horse to jump and a few of us went up there, did rather well, made lots of money and started going up there once a month.
